Gemini can now create, update and search your Gemini Notebooks right from a chat
Google added Gemini Notebook as a Connected App in the Gemini app. Type @Gemini Notebook to create or delete a notebook, add or remove sources, save notes, or ask questions about what your notebooks contain, and Gemini can also use it on its own when a request fits. It's available now to Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers and personal Google accounts. It's on by default except in the European Economic Area, where you turn it on under Settings > Connected Apps.

Ask Claude questions across your synced business data in Datachef
Data platform Datachef launched a Claude connector that lets Claude browse your synced tables, run read-only queries, check whether syncs worked and see what each saved data model depends on. If you tick "Allow changes" when connecting, it can also start a sync, add a column or save a query as a new model, and everything it does is marked "via Claude" in Datachef. You add it in Claude under Settings > Connectors and need a Datachef account. Which Claude plans are needed: not confirmed.

Patent teams can search patents and US file histories from inside ChatGPT with IP Author
Patent software maker IP Author is now available as a ChatGPT plugin, giving ChatGPT its patent database, research papers, US examination records and examiner statistics. You can ask for prior art, a freedom-to-operate check, a patent landscape count or an office action breakdown, and download reports as Word, Excel or PDF. It needs an IP Author account. Which ChatGPT plans can use it: not confirmed.
