Three new ways to plug your apps into AI assistants, from running a small business to booking a haircut.
Gemini gets a small-business page and easier links to Google Ads, Business Profile and apps like Shopify
Google announced a new business landing page in the Gemini app where owners can work on branding, finances and customer insights. Google says it's also making it easy to connect Gemini to Google Business Profile, Google Ads and Google Workspace, plus connected apps from Adobe, Canva, Dropbox, Shopify, Wix, Zoho and Xero. The page, skills and new connected apps start rolling out globally to all Gemini app users in the coming days. Which of those apps are brand new to Gemini: not confirmed, since the post doesn't say.

Find a barber or stylist and pick an open time slot in ChatGPT with Booksy
Booksy launched a plugin inside ChatGPT that lets you search for local barbers, stylists and nail techs and see their real open time slots in the chat. You install the plugin, ask something like "find me a barber in Miami for Saturday morning," pick a slot, then confirm the booking on Booksy. It's live in the U.S. to start, and businesses don't need to set anything up. Which ChatGPT plans can use it: not confirmed.

Describe an app to Claude and Exotool builds it
Exotool's connector is now listed in Claude's connector directory. You describe the app you want in plain words, Claude edits a readable diagram of it instead of writing code, and Exotool turns that into a working phone web app within minutes. Exotool says it works with any Claude account that can add connectors and with all Exotool plans, including the free one.
