Gemini gets a Customize menu and connects to more than 40 apps
Google added a Customize option to Gemini's left menu where you set how Gemini responds and connect apps like Instacart, OpenTable, Adobe and Shopify. It's rolling out on web, mobile and the Windows and Mac apps for all users, but most connected apps work only in English in the US for now.

Belvo launches an official Claude connector for personal finances in Brazil and Mexico
Belvo's connector is now in Claude's Connectors Directory, so people in Brazil or Mexico can link bank, employment or tax records for free and ask Claude about their money. Find it under Settings > Connectors by searching for Belvo.

Grok Bot, xAI's agent app, adds QuickBooks Online and in-chat app cards
Grok Bot release 0.70.2 lets you connect QuickBooks Online and Glean (Glean asks for your Glean MCP URL), and app connectors like Figma, Notion and Canva can show an interactive card in the chat. Grok Bot is xAI's separate agent app, not the Grok chat app: QuickBooks in Grok itself is still not confirmed in xAI's docs.

Grok Bot's marketplace now takes connector submissions
xAI now has an official form where companies can submit a plugin or MCP server to be reviewed for listing to Grok Bot and Cursor users, with Grok itself marked as coming soon. Not confirmed: press reports also name new Grok Bot connectors for Robinhood, Coinbase, Trello, PostHog, beehiiv and eToro, but they aren't in xAI's changelog yet.

MCP Events reach Vercel Connect in public beta
Vercel Connect now lets apps and agents subscribe to webhook events from compatible MCP servers, for jobs like summarizing new messages or reviewing new issues. It's the same MCP Events idea OpenAI introduced for ChatGPT at DevDay, where ChatGPT can act when an MCP server sends an update.

Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses go on sale at $349
Meta's first audio-only AI glasses have open-ear speakers for music, calls and talking to Meta AI, and come in Clubmaster and Burbank styles with prescription options. In China, Alibaba also showed its Qwen Glasses N1 series with 50MP cameras, starting at 2,999 yuan.
